Inspiration and Perspective

Last week I got the first sample of one of the Market bags that I am developing with some artisans here in Antigua Guatemala. I have worked with Cristian before, he along with his bothers, sisters and wife learned theirs craft from his father Don Juan. I feel so fortunate to work with him directly to develop our line. We have made two samples together since I arrived in Guatemala and I am over the moon with the latest prototype.

Visiting him in the artisanal Market I am constantly exposed to new ideas and even a few old ones that can become new again with a fresh perspective. This has inspired to try a a few unconventional combinations. Stay tuned for some new products coming to my shop later this spring.
