This Essential Tote is made from vintage textiles sourced in Guatemala. The fabric or ‘Corte’ used for this bag was previously worn as a skirt. Theses tube shaped skirts are worn by Mayan women all over the country, with certain patterns and designs that are representative of each region. Like all of my handles, this one fits comfortably over the shoulder. Add a cotton or leather tassel for some extra flare!
