Second-life Pouches are made in Toronto, Canada from up-cycled vintage textiles called huipils sourced from Guatemala. Huipils are tunic style garments worn day-to-day by Mayan women all over the country. The brocade patterns are unique to each region and town. This pattern is from San Pedro Sacatepequez, a small town near Antigua in the Guatemalan highlands. Each huipil yields only a few pouches, and each one is truly unique. Add a wrist strap for added functionality!
